Welcome to Day #1!
This is the MOST IMPORTANT question you must ask yourself before you buy any PLR.
I know that there are countless PLR buyers who have turned their computer hard drives into PLR cemeteries. They keep buying content without a clue as to how or when they'll use their content.
But they keep buying... because the offer looks good. Or it's on a dimesale. Or the affiliate's bonuses look great. Or the PLR seller is cool like me.
So they buy and buy and buy... and they go nowhere.
Some even sign up for monthly PLR memberships without any idea of how they're going to use the constant deluge of content that keeps piling up every month.
But they keep paying... and they keep buying and buying and buying.
And they don't make a cent in return. Absolute madness!
They have no skills.
Yup, I have to just rip off the band-aid here.
Most PLR buyers are planless, skillless and clueless. It's sad... but that's the way it is.
"Woah! Woah! Arun! Don't be so brutal!"
Silence! The truth will set you free.
And I've got your back. That's why I put together this 5-Day Plan. To help all the lost PLR souls.
- Put it up on your blog?
- Do you know how to set up a blog?
- Do you know SEO?
- How will you drive traffic to your content?
To use that one PLR article successfully, you must know how to set up a website, optimize it for SEO, and get traffic to it. You'll want to build a list too.
These are the bare minimum skills you need to have.
Great!
- But do you know how to rebrand it?
- What about adding a buy button?
- Or getting the customer on your list?
Once again, you'll need to know how to upload a sales page, integrate with PayPal, sync the sale with your autoresponder and so on.
Which means learning, applying and making it all work in harmoney. Yes, I intentionally misspelled that as 'harmoney'!
Because if the different components in your business don't move smoothly and synergistically, you'll see no money.
You might get hormoney though. But that's another story.
You MUST be a master at slanting and disguising your content in a way that makes it congruent to your niche.
Ok! Let's assume you're in the prepper niche.
Your website is all about survival and being ready for a crisis... or some zombie doomsday. Or whatever.
Some time back, Tiffany Lambert released a gardening PLR bundle.
On the surface, this topic may seem unrelated to your survival blog. But if you know how to slant the content, you'll know how to fit it in with your niche.
Preppers need to grow their own food. It's time they tried vegetable gardening. Boom! Now you can use her content.
What if her bundle is on financial planning?
Ah... that's unrelated, isn't it?
WRONG! Preppers need to manage their money well just in case a crisis strikes and they need an emergency fund. Boom! Now you can use her content.
"But Arun, her current PLR bundle is on affiliate marketing! No way that's related right?"
WRONG! You can slant that too.
Preppers need to have a secondary source of income and affiliate marketing can help them save up an emergency fund quickly. Boom! Now you can use her content.
(Create a category on finances on your survival blog and weave the content into it.)
"Ok. Pfft! Arun, Pfft! Ok you're right so far. But her bodyweight training PLR is irrelevant! PFFT!"
WRONG, you pffter!!!
Keep up. I hate repeating myself. Survivalists need to be fit.
Can't have some overweight, unfit buffoon panting and gasping as he lugs around his bug out bag with 5 days of food supplies inside.
He/she needs to be fit. They need bodyweight training to develop their stamina and strength. Boom! Now you can use her content.
See... I could do this all day!
Moral of the story: If you know how to slant your content, you can get very creative and will never be short on ideas.
Lucky you. I even wrote a free book on understanding niches.
You can download and read it.
I knoooooow...
This can all seem like too much to handle. And it is, if you try to do it all at once.
BUT if you take it one step at a time, you can master the different skills you'll need to turn a profit with your PLR content.
You have to. You don't have a choice here.
The biggest mistake you can make is to think that your marketing struggle ends once you buy PLR.
Wrong! That's when your marketing journey actually BEGINS!
PLR merely accelerates content creation.
Everything else, you still need to learn and get right before you can start seeing the profits rolling in.
Most PLR buyers are just NOT willing to go through the learning curve... and so they never see a return on their PLR investment.
But if you're here, you're probably different and want to succeed. Maybe. We'll see.
Over the next few days, I'll teach you strategies and nuances of using PLR and you'll get a better understanding of what you need to do with your content.
You start with a plan. Which comes down to one question... What do you want to do? What's your marketing plan?
If you're planning to build a niche site, then you'll need to learn how to build one well.
If you're only planning to do affiliate marketing with YouTube videos, you'll need to learn how to repurpose the content for videos... and how to do video marketing.
Thinking of selling the PLR eBook?
You'll need to learn how to build a funnel and drive traffic. Not to mention building a list and 'remarketing' to them.
Decide what you want to do with your PLR, and then it's a matter of learning the necessary skills to make it work.
Once again, PLR is a means to an end. It's NOT an end in itself. Remember that.
I'll see you on Day 2...
