Profit With PLR: Day #2

Always Drink Upstream From the Herd!

Welcome to Day 2!

Here's where you add your voice to the PLR content and make it unique.

You're probably thinking, "Wait, what? ... Gasp! That sounds like work!"

You bet it does. So, I made a gif below to tell you why adding 'flavor' to your PLR is so important.

I'm quite proud of that gif. You know why?

Because it's 100% true. That's why!

If you don't personalize your PLR, you'll be just like every other PLR buyer who copies and pastes the content without changing a single word.

See... anybody can do that.

And most will. Which is exactly why you need to be different.

Now before you roll your eyes and throw your hands up in the air and moan...

"Arrrrgh! I bought PLR so that I wouldn't have to write!"

Calm down. You don't have to write that much.

Here's the rule of thumb: Don't run if no one is chasing you.

There are only 2 reasons you'd rewrite your PLR content:

1. You're trying to make it unique enough for the search engines.

2. You want the content to be more entertaining and memorable.

If you've bought a PLR eBook/article and you love the way it's written, and you're not concerned about SEO - you don't need to rewrite the content.

You can just sell it (eBook) or use it as it is (article). Ranking in Google is not even an issue here.

So go ahead and use the PLR as it is.

However...

If you’re trying to rank in the search engine results for specific keywords, then yes… you MUST rewrite at least 55% of your article so that Google views it as unique.

Even if you're not trying to rank in the SERPs, adding your voice to the PLR content helps.

Your audience wants to hear from YOU!

Add your own opinions, mix them up with some of your personal experiences, add a dash of humor, and let the content sound like it came from you.

If you can do that, your audience will grow to recognize your voice, and you'll build trust and a sense of camaraderie with them.

The good news is that I actually made a set of videos showing you how I personalized a PLR article and used it on my site.

Ahem... you'll have to endure my wretched Indian voice. But my sense of humor makes up for it. Barely.
